Sean is the Director of the AI and Legal Tech Studio at Arizona State University College of Law, where he leads the design and deployment of advanced AI systems for legal education, research, and practice-ready training. He holds a JD, an MS in Data Analytics, and an MLIS, combining legal, technical, and information-science expertise in his work. He is a 2025 Fastcase 50 awardee and was recently featured by OpenAI for his innovations in integrating AI into legal education. Sean’s research and teaching focus on the practical, responsible use of AI in law, with an emphasis on building real systems, workflows, and pedagogy that prepare students and institutions for an AI-driven legal profession.
