Subscription Attorney LLC
Mathew Kerbis founded Subscription Attorney LLC (http://subatty.com) in 2022 after working for private practice law firms for nine years. It’s a modern law firm offering subscriptions starting at $19.99/month, with the mission to provide affordable access to legal advice for small business owners, freelancers, and everyday people. Kerbis realized the subscription model could revolutionize the legal profession, so he also launched the podcast Law Subscribed (https://lawsubscribed.com) to help the rest of the legal profession to make the same choice.
Kerbis has served as an American Bar Association leader for over a decade, where he has chaired boards, advocated for legal education reform, interviewed ABA Presidents and State Appellate and Supreme Court Justices, and lobbied Congress. He also volunteers on the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System’s Foundations Advisory Committee, the Deerfield Park Foundation Board, and Deerfield Family Theater Board. He was also a speaker for the 2021 Metaverse Safety Week (formerly XR Safety Week). As a law student, Kerbis served as an extern for the Honorable Justice Robert E. Gordon of the Illinois Appellate Court, First District.
Kerbis regularly speaks at high schools and colleges to prospective law students and engages in one-on-one mentoring with new lawyers, law students and pre-law college students. He has also performed as a dancing, acting and singing lawyer with the Chicago Bar Show. Kerbis is a frequent public speaker, and you can watch/listen to him at http://mathewkerbis.com.
