Jillian Jordan Evans is an attorney, professor, and advocate based in Montgomery, the capital of Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Leadership Development from Troy University, an early foundation for her career devoted to advocacy, communication, and public service.
After earning her Juris Doctor from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2017, Jillian began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the 19th Judicial Circuit, where she prosecuted hundreds of cases ranging from violent felonies to complex child abuse matters. In 2019, she joined the Alabama Attorney General’s Office, Criminal Trials Division, where she continued to try major felony cases across the state. By 2021, Jillian was appointed Lead Prosecutor of the Special Victims Unit, focusing on child sexual abuse and internet crimes against children. In January of 2025, Jillian became the Director of Law Practice Management at the Alabama State Bar, where she helps attorneys statewide strengthen their practices through better management, technology integration, and ethical compliance.
In addition to her work at the Bar, Jillian serves as an adjunct professor and trial advocacy coach at Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, mentoring future lawyers in courtroom strategy and
professional development. She also serves as Vice President of the Child Protect Junior Executive Board, supporting the mission of Montgomery’s child advocacy center to serve and protect victims of abuse.
Jillian regularly speaks to legal and community groups across Alabama on topics ranging from law practice management and legal technology to child advocacy and trauma-informed prosecution. Most recently, she delivered the keynote address for the Alabama Network of Children’s Advocacy Center’s South Regional Meeting.
