From Brainstorm to Bookshelf: An Open Discussion About Book Writing, the Fun and the Challenges

ABA Hub | EXPO Hall

JOIN TWO ABA PUBLISHED AUHORS FOR AN OPEN DISCUSSION ABOUT THE PROCESS OF BOOK WRITING, THE FUN AND THE CHALLENGES

Do you ever wish you could be an ABA author??  You can be.

The ABA Law Practice Division has a long history of publishing books on a wide range of topics related to the business of law, including finance, leadership, marketing, technology, ethics and firm management.

The Law Practice Division is constantly seeking titles on new and evergreen topics of  interest to practicing attorneys.  We welcome potential authors with good ideas who are members of any part of the ABA, as well as non-members.  And you do not need to be an attorney to be an author.

Some authors are prolific and write a variety of books, while others only write one book. Some books are written by several authors with an editor coordinating the chapters.  And you could be the editor and/or the author of one of the chapters.

Join our presentation to:

  • Learn about the benefits of being an LP author, as well as the process of writing a book.
  • Discover the significant resources and support the Division provides to assist its authors.

Speakers (and some books for which they authored or edited):

  • Catherine Sanders Reach |  “Design Your Law Practice:  Using Design Thinking to Get Next Level Results”
  • Daniel Siegel | “The Ultimate Guide to Adobe Acrobat DC, Second Edition”
  • Moderator: John Mitchell

P.S.  There will be a raffle to give away several LP books to several attendees, as well as release of a code for a special discount good for a later book purchase.
