Terah Drent is the founder and CEO of Occam’s Ops®, a legal operations consultancy focused on Lean/Six Sigma process improvement, e-discovery, AI workflow design, change management, and technology adoption. She is a frequent speaker and author on legal tech topics, including her article “AI in E-Discovery” published in the ABA SciTech Lawyer (Winter 2026).

As a Certified Legal Manager (CLM), Terah is passionate about elegant systems, metadata, and ontological design. Terah brings deep expertise in modernizing law firm operations through strategic technology implementation and data-driven excellence. She is an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) and serves on the ABA Techshow Board.

Terah earned her JD from the University of San Diego School of Law and her B.A. in Philosophy from UC Irvine.
