Marcia Watson Wasserman founder and President of Comprehensive Management Solutions, Inc. provides “C.O.O to Go” TM law practice management consulting services to boutique and mid-sized law firms. Her expertise includes operational management reviews, business strategy, mergers and succession planning, retreat facilitation, and management and leadership development. She serves as a coach and mentor to Managing Partners, Attorneys and Legal Administrators. Marcia also leads multiple, monthly law firm Managing Partners’ Roundtables in cities in and around Los Angeles, focused on elevating the legal management discussion and sharing best practices.

Marcia is a Fellow in the College of Law Practice Management. She frequently presents on law practice management topics at local, regional and national conferences and her writings can be found in leading legal publications. She is the co-author of Lawyers as Managers: How to Be a Champion for Your Firm and Employees (ABA 2017) and the author of “Virtual Is the New Law Firm Reality” (Law Practice, May/June 2019) and “Novel Ways to Train and Develop Associates,” (Law Practice, July/August 2018). She is columns editor of the ABA’s Law Practice Division’s Law Practice magazine and a member of its Magazine, Publications and Lawyer Leadership and Management Boards.
