Edit is a computer scientist with minor in law working as a project manager at Icelandic Startup, helping startups grow within and out of Iceland by accelerating their businesses and connecting them with leading experts, investors, and global startup hubs. She is the Co-Founder of Statum, a startup founded by three women (Edit Ómarsdóttir, Helga Margrét Ólafsdóttir and Hafdís Sæland) specialising in virtual reality. While passionate about helping others grow their business she’s also passionate about helping victims of domestic and sexual abuse by using technology.
