Rachel Edwards

TECHSHOW 2027 BOARD

Rachel Edwards is a Practice Management Attorney with the Oregon State Bar Professional Liability Fund. She received her BA from the University of Washington in Seattle in 2007 and her JD from Willamette University College of Law in 2010. Prior to joining the PLF in 2016, Rachel practiced law, focusing on Social Security disability, family law, adoption, and estate planning. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Oregon Women Lawyers, county bar associations throughout the state, and is a liaison to the Oregon State Bar Solo and Small Firm Section. She has also been elected to the board of the Washington County Bar Association and is a founding subcommittee member of the New Lawyers Division within the association.

Throughout her career, she has been committed to community engagement and professional service, volunteering as a Classroom Law Project Mock Trial Judge, serving as an Adoption Contract Vendor Attorney for the Oregon Department of Human Services, and contributing time to the Convocation on Equality and the St. Andrew Legal Clinic. In her current role she provides confidential practice management assistance to Oregon legal professionals. Her assistance includes meetings, presentations, writings for various legal publications, and continuous creation and updating of various resources, helping them minimize malpractice risks and find greater satisfaction in their legal careers.
