Michael Zuckerman is the founder of Zuckerman Law Firm, LLC, a boutique advocacy firm that also offers third-party neutral services. Mr. Zuckerman has practiced law at the global law firm Jones Day, where he focused on complex commercial litigation and appellate advocacy. He has clerked four times–for judges in the E.D.N.Y., N.D.I.L. and Sixth and Seventh Circuits. Mr. Zuckerman recently served as a full-time law professor at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he taught communication and legal reasoning to first-year law students.
He has published extensively, including on the intersection of law and technology, and has authored hundreds of appellate and trial-level motions. Mr. Zuckerman cares deeply about the legal profession and making sure that lawyers continue to uphold our core values while not falling behind on technology (no easy feat).
Mr. Zuckerman, who is licensed to practice in Illinois, is an active member of many professional legal organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago, and the Association of Attorney Mediators.
Mr. Zuckerman earned his J.D. cum laude from Cornell Law School, where he served on the Cornell Law Review. He holds a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
