Dr. Amanda Zelechoski

Valparaiso University

Dr. Amanda Zelechoski is a licensed clinical psychologist and attorney, specializing in the areas of trauma and forensic psychology. She is board certified in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and has worked clinically with adults, children, and families in inpatient, outpatient, and forensic settings. She is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Valparaiso University, where she directs the Certificate in Trauma-Informed Care program and the Psychology, Law, and Trauma Lab. In addition to her roles at Valparaiso University, Dr. Zelechoski provides training and consultation to numerous mental health, education, and legal agencies and is the co-founder of Pandemic Parenting, a free web platform to provide parents and those who work with children with science-based resources to help them continue to navigate the challenges and uncertainty related to COVID-19.
