Numerous conversations are being had across the legal industry regarding the lack of definition for technology competency for legal professionals. This issue has been well-documented for the past ten years, and was highlighted in the opening talk at the Teaching Law Tech Teachers workshop at the American Association of Law Libraries’ Annual Meeting in July 2022 delivered by ABA TECHSHOW Board Member Kenton Brice. This again was most recently discussed in an article written by Michael Quartararo on Bob Ambrogi’s LawNext website.
Come together for a design-centered workshop that would result in some work product that could provide a roadmap for continued work on defining technology competency, and a possible working group for the future on this topic.
