Victor J. Medina

Medina Law Group, Pennington, NJ

Victor J. Medina is the lead attorney for the Medina Law Group, an estate planning and elder law asset protection firm in Pennington, NJ (which is either by Trenton or by Princeton, depending on who is asking). In addition to practicing law, Victor organizes an annual, national conference focused on using Macs in the law office called MILOfest, held this year on October 24-26, 2013 in Disney World. Victor suffers from an irresistible compulsion to purchase any shiny gadget manufactured by Apple on the first day it's available.


Mark C. Metzger

Law OFfice of Mark C. Metzger, Naperville, IL

Mark C. Metzger practices in Naperville, Illinois where his practice focuses on representing small businesses (particularly those in the software industry), elder law and real estate. Mark has been a frequent presenter on the subject of computer use in the practice of law, most recently at the last three ABA TECHSHOWs and the last three MILOfests. His office has been Mac-based since 2008 and has included Macintosh computers since 1989.


Larry Staton Jr.

Hendrick Automotive Group, Charlotte, NC

Larry Staton Jr. is the Sr. Software Engineer at Hendrick Automotive Group, the second-largest private dealership group in the United States with over 80 dealerships nationwide. Larry has been programming on the Mac since 1999 by learning AppleScript, a scripting language that ships with every Mac. When he practiced law, Larry used his programming skills to automate his workflows and he continues to write programs to eliminate tedious tasks for other Mac attorneys around the world.


Ben Stevens

The Stevens Firm, P.A., Spartanburg, SC

Ben Stevens practices in Spartanburg, South Carolina with his wife and law partner, Jenny Stevens, at The Stevens Firm, P.A. Family Law Center, where his principal area of practice is family law. Ben completed his undergraduate studies with honors at Clemson University, and he received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina. He has been an active member of the South Carolina Bar, South Carolina Association for Justice, American Bar Association, and American Association for Justice since 1995. He currently serves on the Family Law Council of the South Carolina Bar, and he previously served two terms as Section Chair of the Family Law Section of the South Carolina Association for Justice. He is also a certified Family Court Mediator and a trained collaborative lawyer. Ben is happily married and the proud father of three children and three step-children, currently ranging in age from 15 to 3.

Ben is very involved with legal technology, particularly as it relates to the use of Macs in the practice of law. He has published The Mac Lawyer blog since August of 2006, and since that time, it has become one of the leading legal technology blogs. Ben also co-founded the Macs in Law Offices (MILO) group, which is the largest forum of its kind. He also publishes the South Carolina Family Law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com), which is an award winning family law blog. Ben has served on the editorial board for the ABA’s Law Practice Today webzine since 2008. He has been featured in several state and national publications, and he enjoys giving presentations on the subjects of family law and legal technology to audiences locally, nationally, and internationally.
