This program looks at the increasing use of competitive intellegence in case and practice management and how to use it to advance your client's position.

Carole Levitt

Internet for Lawyers

Carole Levitt, President of Internet for Lawyers, has over 20 years of combined experience in the legal field as an attorney, law librarian, and legal research and writing professor. Since 1999 she has been a recognized Continuing Legal Education (CLE) speaker and author, focusing on how to use the Internet for investigative and legal research and for productivity. She has presented at the ABA TECHSHOW, LegalWorks, and LegalTech Conferences; ABA and various State Bar annual meetings; the National Association of Bar Executives; and at hundreds of bar associations, law firms, and library associations throughout the U.S. and Canada. She has co-authored 12 editions of The Cybersleuth’s Guide to the Internet and co-authored five ABA books (Google For Lawyers, Find Info Like a Pro Volumes 1 & 2, and The Lawyer’s Guide to Fact Finding on the Internet, 2nd and 3rd editions). Additionally, she is co-author of the ABA’s forthcoming Google Gmail and Calendar in One Hour for Lawyers. Ms. Levitt serves on the ABA Law Practice Management Section’s Publishing Board (2003-present) and previously served on its Executive Council (2007-11). She is also a member of the Association of Continuing Legal Education and was recently nominated to the College of Law Practice Management. Carole graduated with distinction from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago and served on the school’s Law Review.


Mark Rosch

Internet for Lawyers

Mark Rosch is Vice-President of Internet for Lawyers and developer and manager of the Internet for Lawyers web site, online CLE programs, and Facebook Company page. He is an internationally recognized Continuing Legal Education speaker who writes, speaks, and tweets about legal technology for firms and also on how to use the Internet for research and productivity. He has also co-authored five books on these topics – four of them published by the ABA (“Google For Lawyers,” “Find Info Like a Pro: Volumes 1 & 2,” and “The Lawyer’s Guide to Fact Finding on the Internet”) – and “The Cybersleuth’s Guide to the Internet.” Additionally, he is co-author of the ABA’s forthcoming “Google Gmail and Calendar in One Hour for Lawyers.” Mr. Rosch served on the ABA Law Practice Management Section’s Education Board and it State and Local Bar Outreach Committee and currently serves on its TECHSHOW Planning Board. He has also served in various leadership positions in the Association of Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA).
